Affirmations

I have found that Affirmations are a wonderful tool to help enhance your life. They are very simple and easy to do and yet very powerful. If only we knew that what we say to ourselves or voice out allowed is what the brain believes we would be more careful in what we say, eg if we say ‘I feel sick', ‘I'm so nervous', ‘I'm fat'. Affirmations work and the brain believe what it hears you say.

Try it; you have nothing to lose, and a lot to gain! Below are some examples that you may find helpful, you can make up your own, just make sure it is in the present tense and positive. Have fun.

'I am loving and lovable'
'I am well'
'I am happy'
'All is well in my world'
'I can do it.......'
'I am having a lovely day'

 

One of the best books that I read regarding Affirmations is called ‘You Can Heal Your Body' by Louise Hay, most good book shops will sell it and Amazon has a good selection of books on this.

Feeling Stressed?

Try this quick balancing technique. It will calm you and can be used just before an interview for example.

Tap your thymus (the middle of your chest, between your heart and throat) and tap in an anticlockwise motion for around 30 seconds. This will take the edge of a stressful situation and can be used as many times during the day, as often as you like. This simple technique will help stimulate your energies, boost your immune system and increase your strength and vitality.

 

 

 

 

Allergy Tap

To switch of an allergic reaction, gently tap the following places for around 20 to 30 seconds.

Either side of your nose at level with your eye

Tap at your collar bone at the K27s (when looking straight ahead, in line with your chin, down your neck, pass your throat, pass the first notch bone 3 to 4 finger widths down)
Directly at eye level below your pupils when looking straight ahead, you may feel a little notch in the bone here.
Tap either side of your body, (for women if you wear wired bras, it is just below there on the side), this part maybe a bit tender.

It might be a good idea to give it a go before the need arises, and when a reaction starts, like sneezing or runny eyes, you can do this in the loo if this happens at work for privacy. Please note that it is only a temporary relief to a reaction, but you will feel more comfortable, if it continues make yourself an appointment to see me and I could do some work to find out what your body is allergic to.

We live in a society that makes you think that it is a way of life being ill, PMS, Menopause, Headaches, Depression to name just a few. It is a good idea to get educated and many are now taking the root of trying out natural alternatives to feeling well and Health Kinesiology fits in perfectly, it works in the bodies order to bring about a sense of well being. You could also try some of the following:

•  Get some fresh air and sunshine (if you can!) daily it cleanses and purifies the body

•  Get plenty of rest , rest allows the body to heal and become more revitalized, and you don't have to go to bed to rest, reading a book, listening to a favourite piece of music, it all helps the body to rest.

•  Eat wholesome nutritious foods , organic if possible

•  Drink plenty of water , 75% of the body is made up of water

•  Exercise , walking, dancing, anything that gets the heart beating a bit faster for around 20 minutes 3 times a week

•  Find a fulfilling career , doing what you love feeds your inner soul, bring more happiness in your life.

•  Journaling , it takes a few minutes a day and really helps you to get your feelings and thoughts out, it is a great dumping ground and a also a great place to records specials things to. When you are not feeling 100% it is a good idea to write in your journal, you would be really surprised what comes out when you do start writing. You may find what it is that is bothering you or really you ill!
